A Royal Recognition: Ga Mantse Welcomes Global Nursing Award Laureate Naomi Oyoe Ohene Oti

As part of her ongoing engagements following her international recognition as Winner of the 2025 Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award, award-winning oncology nurse specialist Naomi Oyoe Ohene Oti paid a distinguished visit to the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II.
The visit, held at the Ga Mantse鈥檚 palace, was to formally present her prestigious global award and to seek the blessings, counsel, and encouragement of the traditional leadership of the Ga State, a community she proudly represents and honours.
The Ga Mantse warmly congratulated Mrs. Ohene Oti on her outstanding global achievement, noting that her excellence brings immense pride not only to Accra and the Ga State but to the entire nation of Ghana. He praised her unwavering dedication to improving cancer care, advancing oncology nursing, and championing healthcare excellence across Africa.
King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II encouraged her to continue inspiring the youth, especially nurses and healthcare professionals, to pursue excellence, discipline, and service to humanity. He emphasized that her global honour stands as a symbol of what dedication and resilience can achieve.
Mrs. Ohene Oti expressed deep gratitude for the warm reception and royal blessings. She shared that the award represents not just personal achievement but a victory for Ghana鈥檚 healthcare system, its nurses, and all who supported her journey. She extended special appreciation to Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh for his continuous encouragement and support throughout her rise to global recognition.
